Electing Candidatesthat Represent the Majority with Ranked Choice Voting
AzAN members and activists came to Faith Lutheran Church to hear about a reform known as Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) which would eliminate the costs and delays of primaries and runoff elections.Under RCV (also referred to as Instant Runoff Voting), the candidate most preferable to the majority of voters is elected and the votes of those who choose a second-place or third party candidate are not wasted.RCV is changing elections in North Carolina, Vermont, and San Francisco and could strengthen representative government here in Arizona!
